About Prana Spa

In 2003 we bought an old “conch house” right in the middle of Old Town Key West. After operating a sports massage business out of a local health club for more than ten years, we decided that it was time to expand our services and open our spa.

Prana Spa

Prana is a word from Sanskrit, from ancient India, and translates to mean both "breath" and "life force" Our spa draws form both of our backgrounds as body workers, enabling us to meld deep tissue massage with Thai stretching, Ayurvedic oil pours with clinical skin care practices, and spa treatments with sports massage.

Here at Prana Spa we offer you a unique spa experience, in a very personal and intimate atmosphere. We are owner operated and managed.

Our staff is excellent, and stays with us for years.

We often welcome visitors to Key West year after year, and just as often they are welcomed by the familiar face, and hands, of a favorite therapist.

Jon Harper:

Jon brings to Prana Spa his dedication to deep tissue sports massage Jon has been practicing massage therapy in Key West longer then most. His background in body work stems from one of his original loves, the Triathlon. In fact, Jon's original massage therapy practice was named "Tri Massage" and was offered out of the then famous Club Body Tech health club, in Old Town Key West.

Offering his services to both gym members as well as visitors to Key West from around the world, Jon established a very successful practice that centered on deep tissue sports massage.

Mark Goldstein:

Mark brings to Prana Spa his influences steeped in Yoga, India, Thailand and Buddhism. Mark comes from a medical family that runs the gamut from Surgeons to Acupuncturists and Herbalists. He has always been surrounded in the healing arts.

After finishing up his western style training in order to become a nationally licensed massage therapist, Mark instantly began his training in Thai Yoga Massage. A number of years later, after studying both in the States and Thailand, Mark offers traditional Thai Massage, as well as Deep Tissue massage therapy.

As well, Mark is certified nationally in the U.S. and Thailand as an Instructor of Thai Massage, and offers courses in Thai Massage to other therapists and yoga instructors.
